Meet Our Medical Director

Obiora M. Ekweani, MD

Dr. Ekweani received his medical degree from the College of Medicine of the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He subsequently completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University at Harlem Hospital in New York City. Dr. Ekweani is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and in emergency medicine by the American Association of Physician Specialists. He has been practicing medicine for over 20 years.

Dr. Ekweani is affiliated with Medical Center of Plano and Presbyterian Hospital of Plano. He is also a member of American College of Physicians, American Association of Physician Specialists, Texas Medical Association and Collin/Fannin County Medical Society.
